Our good friends Tom & Chloe finally got engaged last weekend! Joe and I are really excited for them.

What do you mean finally??? Just because -some- people only take like 25 minutes to go from having just met to engaged doesn’t mean the rest of us do

I’m glad I lost the bet. I intentionally chose a date the farthest out because it would be sad if NONE of us had won. BTW, Joe also lost the bet but he chose the earliest date.
Joe and I just knew you guys were going to get engaged before you started dating and it’s just hard to be patient sometimes

P.S. Just to clarify about the 25 minutes, Joe and I knew each other for much longer before getting engaged than you and Chloe, so hah! We just didn’t waste any time during the dating process.
